General Condition:
The body is in great condition, with minor signs of previous use.
The original leatherette covering is in good condition too.
The focusing screen has been replaced by a plain Bright Screen MPD.
We find it very comfortable to use even on bright sunny days. much much better than the original 80 years old one.
Both lenses show some internal/surface marks that we judge négligeable without no impact on the final images. Please check the pictures taken with the camera to convince you.
The Compur - Rapid shutter has been overhauled, cleaned and re-lubricated and now works very well at all speeds, even at slow speed. Same for the self timer which is fully operational.
What we have done:
We did a full overhaul of the camera. Call it CLA'd if you want.
The front and the optical elements have been disassembled and cleaned up.
Both side panels have been opened.
The film transport system has been fully disassembled to be cleaned up, lubricated and tested.
The complete focusing system has been disassembled for cleaning, re-lubrication and adjustment. We fully checked and adjusted the camera and all movements are correct.
We have fully tested the camera with films.
All servicing processes and film testing have been documented.
