Condition
Excellent after a professional service — cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted throughout. The Tessar-style Xenar 75mm f/3.5 lens is sharp and free of haze or fungus, with some minor expected cleaning marks. Aperture and shutter blades are clean and responsive. Focus is smooth and accurate, with both lenses correctly aligned. Film transport is precise and reliable.
The focusing screen is original with a classic, highly accurate optical focusing aid. The central circle in your viewfinder is split in half by a line. When an object is out of focus, straight lines will appear broken or misaligned; when in focus, the two halves perfectly align into a seamless image. It does show some non obstructive light marks due to handling, and won't affect the quality of your final photographs.
Cosmetically clean with only minor signs of age, as shown in the photos. We don't hide or touch up cosmetic wear like paint loss or scuffs — we see these as part of the camera's history. Our focus is restoring cameras to be used, not to look untouched.
