General Condition:
The body is in very good condition, with minor signs of previous use. The original leather covering is in very good condition. The focusing screen has been replaced by a new Bright Screen MPD with line spacing pattern. The MPD screen is best with eye level finders, geometric subjects such as architecture, and for general photography. We find it very comfortable to use even in bright sunny day.
Both lenses show some surface marks. There is no separation or fungi. The Tessar taking lens has some circular haze on the edge. All this has NO impact on the final images. Please check the pictures taking with the camera to convince you.
The Compur - Rapid shutter has been cleaned and re-lubricated and now works very well at all speeds, even at slow speed. Same for the self timer which is fully operational.
What we have done:We did a full overhaul of the camera. Call it CLA'd if you want. The front and the optical elements have been disassembled and cleaned up. Both side panels has been opened. The film transport system has been fully disassembled to be cleaned up, lubricated and tested. The complete focusing system has been disassembled for cleaning, re-lubrication and adjustment. We fully checked and adjusted the camera and all movements are correct. We have fully tested the camera with films.
All servicing process and film testing have been documented.
Rolleiflex 3.5 Automat Model 2, K4 build 631
General characteristics:
This is the second model in a very successful line of Rolleiflex 6x6 Automats. Highly appraised by photographers because its "automatic" functions enabled a faster workflow.

Automatic stop at the first frame of the film, no red window needed anymore. Possible by a patented film start sense mechanism which detected the tape that fixes the film to its back paper.
